The Yiddish Shmoozers provides an English-language, online conversational space to explore Yiddish literature and the arts in historical contexts and as a resource for the times we live in.

A 2-hour presentation on March 2, 2025. The first hour includes a talk by composer Alex Weiser and librettist Ben Kaplan with video excerpts from their 2024 concert performance of The Great Dictionary of the Yiddish Language. The second hour includes a Q&A discussion with Alex Weiser, Ben Kaplan, and guest historian of Yiddish theatre Nahma Sandow. The Yiddish Shmoozers (in Translation) is an online English language space for conversations about Yiddish literature, history, and culture as a resource for our times. Shmoozamama Gelya Frank is host and moderator.
