Claudia Kohner

Claudia Kohner is a Licensed Psychologist who has a private practice in the Los Angeles area.

She has developed and produced an educational book and app, intended for adults and children to experience together, that offer an approach to help adults respond to young children in ways that can promote emotional integration in the children. In 2023, she traveled to Warsaw, where her book was presented in Ukrainian to Ukrainian children.

Prior to studying clinical psychology, she worked in publishing companies in New York City. During graduate school, she became a freelance editor specializing in psychoanalytic manuscripts. After becoming a Licensed Psychologist, she was an instructor at the Graduate Center for Child Development and Psychotherapy, where she taught a class that supported students as they worked on their doctoral projects.
